Along with sporting the biggest engine in the Pulsar lineup, the naked streetfighter is packed with advanced features to provide an elevated and precision riding experience for customers.

Bajaj Pulsar N250 White Left Side

New ABS Ride Modes

The Pulsar N250 comes equipped with three ABS ride modes: Road, Rain, and Off-Road to take precision riding to the next level. The intrusion of ABS is best optimized in each ride mode to deliver maximum rider control.

Switchable Traction Control

The Pulsar N250's Switchable Traction Control prevents the rear wheel from spinning out of control on slippery surfaces or during hard acceleration. This helps the bike maintain a firm grip and reduces the risk of skids and loss of control, keeping the rider in control.

Upside-Down Fork Suspension

The Pulsar N250 employs 37 mm USD (upside-down) Fork Suspension, which improves the bike's agility and shock absorption capabilities. Riders can be assured of the highest levels of control and precision. The USD forks sport a premium Champagne Gold colour for the Pearl Metallic White and Glossy Racing Red variants and a menacing All-Black look for the Brooklyn Black variant.

Bajaj Pulsar N250 Red Right Side

Revolutionary Digital Console with Bluetooth Connectivity

The N250 also features a fully digital, Bluetooth-enabled, reverse monochromatic LCD console. Bluetooth integration allows the rider to receive mobile notifications and accept or reject calls on the console, along with fuel gauge indications and service notifications. The newly developed Bajaj Ride Connect app allows for a seamless connection between the rider’s mobile phone and the bike.

The 2024 edition of Pulsar N150 and N160 witnessed console upgrades earlier this year, the N250 raises the bar to the next level with the TBT (turn-by-turn) Navigation feature, a first for the Pulsar N family of motorcycles. Coupled with real-time connectivity, TBT Navigation enhances the rider’s focus by minimizing distractions that come with operating a mobile phone, making the riding experience even more elevated.

As per a recent media report, Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director, Bajaj Auto, has confirmed that the company will launch its biggest Bajaj Pulsar in November this year. The upcoming model will be based on an all-new platform that will be used in several iterations of the Pulsar brand over the next 12 months.

While Mr Bajaj has confirmed the arrival of the biggest Bajaj Pulsar in Diwali, he did not disclose how big the new model is going to be. Now, spy shots of an alleged 250cc Pulsar had surfaced online in the past. It is expected to replace the current 220cc model. While details regarding the quarter-litre bike are scarce, it is being said that Bajaj Auto would use a newly developed engine for the machine. However, reports also say that the 250cc engine of the KTM 250 Adventure and 250 Duke with some alterations could also be used.

Since Rajiv Bajaj has left the door open for speculation, we would like to see an even bigger Bajaj Pulsar. Perhaps, a Pulsar 400. Bajaj Auto already has a tried and tested 373cc engine that it uses in the Dominar 400. So, if the company is planning to go big, why not skip the middle ground and aim for the biggest? A Bajaj Pulsar 400 would set the motorcycle market on fire, just like the first-gen Pulsar did nearly two decades ago.

And it must be working wonders because Bajaj Auto hasn’t changed this design in many years, although the Pune-based two-wheeler giant has recently updated the colours and graphics of the motorbike.

Bajaj Pulsar 220f Render

Since the Bajaj Pulsar 220F has been carrying the same design for the past several years, we wouldn’t be surprised to see a similar concept on the bike’s high-spec model, if there’s ever going to be one. And to give you an idea of how that would look like here’s a rendering created by an automotive artist that goes by the name “Abin Designs” on Instagram.

We can see in the pictures that the high-spec Bajaj Pulsar 220F sportbike avatar looks quite captivating. It has the same vertically stacked headlamp that most enthusiasts really like. However, to spice things up a little, the artist has added a few nice touches. For example, there are winglets present below the headlamp. They appear to be an integral part of the motorcycle’s full fairing. The black, blue, and white colour combination suits the overall look. It seems to be inspired by the new Bajaj Pulsar 220F Dagger Edition that has been recently launched in the Indian market.

High Spec Bajaj Pulsar 220f Render Front

It looks like that the rear cowl and fuel tank have been carried over from the original Bajaj Pulsar 220F. However, the clip-ons have been lowered down for a more dedicated riding stance. They also enhance the front look of the motorcycle. Similarly, the tail section has been raised a little for a sportier appeal. Some of the other eye-catching elements include USD front forks, radial front brake caliper, wider tyres, stylish alloy wheels, and LED indicators.

The artist has named the motorcycle in the rendering the Bajaj Pulsar 420F. Perhaps, it could use a revised version of the Bajaj Dominar 400’s engine. What do you think of this digital portrait? Let us know in the comments below.

Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Modded with Bajaj Dominar Parts, Looks Badass https://indianautosblog.com/modified-bajaj-pulsar-ns200-bajaj-dominar-parts-p323715 Fri, 28 May 2021 08:30:17 +0000 https://indianautosblog.com/?p=323715 The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 has got the near-perfect looks of a naked streetfighter. And matching those killer aesthetics is its peppy engine producing 24.5 PS of max power at 9750 rpm and 18.5 Nm of peak torque at 8000 rpm. No wonder why there’s such a huge fan following of this 200cc motorcycle. But as they say, there’s always room for improvement. So, here’s a Pulsar NS200 that has been modified with parts from the Bajaj Dominar and it looks badass.

Modified Bajaj Pulsar Ns200 Front 3 Qurater

The pictures have been uploaded by "mr_piston__addictz" on Instagram. Perhaps, the most attractive feature of this modified Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is the headlamp. While the housing is stock, the internals has somehow been replaced by that of the Bajaj Dominar. So, this headlamp is full-LED and goes very well with the motorcycle’s naked look. Also, an aftermarket visor has been fitted to further enhance the front appearance.

Another instantly noticeable feature of this modified Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is the USD front forks. They also appear to have been taken from the Bajaj Dominar. However, they have been wrapped with a gold finish for a more premium look. They also tend to impart a bold visual stance to the motorcycle.

Modified Bajaj Pulsar Ns200 Dominar Instrument Clu

Interestingly, even the instrument cluster on this modified Bajaj Pulsar NS200 has been borrowed from the Bajaj Dominar. It has been neatly fitted and seems to be working just fine. Apart from that, the belly pan, as well as the front disc brake, has also been taken from the Dominar. Some of the other modified parts include aftermarket handlebar and switchgear, quick throttle, aftermarket front brake fluid reservoir, rear seat cowl, white parking lights, white pinstripes on the front wheel, and different tyres. We think a short tail tidy would complete the overall look of the motorcycle.

What do you have to say about this modified Bajaj Pulsar NS200? Let us know in the comments below.

Bajaj Pulsar 220F Dagger Edition Visualised as an Attractive Sportbike https://indianautosblog.com/bajaj-pulsar-220f-dagger-edition-sportbike-render-p323647 Mon, 24 May 2021 02:30:13 +0000 https://indianautosblog.com/?p=323647 It was around a month ago when the new Bajaj Pulsar 220F Dagger Edition was officially launched in the Indian market. The new version of the semi-faired motorcycle is basically a visual upgrade. It is available in four exciting colour options including Volcanic Red, Pearl White, Sparkle Black, and Sapphire Blue. The new shades certainly make the motorcycle look even more handsome. So much so that an automotive artist has visualised the Bajaj Pulsar 220F Dagger Edition as an attractive sportbike rocking the new Volcanic Red livery.

Bajaj Pulsar 220f Sportbike Rendering

We can see in the rendering here that the Bajaj Pulsar 220F Dagger Edition sportbike has the same graphics that the original motorcycle comes with. The red design elements are present on the fuel tank and extend down to the fairing. Even the graphics of the belly pan have been carried over. The iconic, vertically-stacked headlamp setup of the Pulsar 220F has been kept intact and it gels well with the full fairing. Don’t you think so?

The artist has also raised the tail section of the Bajaj Pulsar 220F Dagger Edition sportbike for a more appealing look. While the side body panels are more or less the same, the rear cowls have been made a tad bit sharper. The motorcycle is also fitted with USD front forks and a monoshock at the back. The chunky exhaust has been replaced by a short one with a slashed-cut opening. As for the brakes, there’s a pair of rotors at the front accompanied by radial calipers for providing impressive stopping power.

Bajaj Pulsar 220f Sportbike Rendering Rhs

The Bajaj Pulsar 220F Dagger Edition sportbike has a split-type seat. The motorcycle is also fitted with low set clip-on handlebars for a lean-forward riding position. We also find the alloy wheels to be different wrapped by, what appears to be, performance-oriented tyres. Do you think this rendering looks cool? Let us know in the comments below.

Bajaj Pulsar NS400 Imagined Digitally, Looks Very Muscular https://indianautosblog.com/bajaj-pulsar-ns400-concept-rendering-p323651 Sun, 23 May 2021 02:30:47 +0000 https://indianautosblog.com/?p=323651 There have been reports about Bajaj reportedly working on a Pulsar RS400 previously. However, there has never been any official information from the company in this regard. It did, however, give rise to a lot of speculations, some even suggesting that a Pulsar NS400 could also likely be on the cards. While we are still awaiting an official word about either motorcycles, an automotive artist by the name of  Abin Designs has created a digital rendering that previews how the Bajaj Pulsar NS400 could look like in its concept form.

Bajaj Pulsar Ns400 Rendering Front Quarter
Here's a rendering of the Bajaj Pulsar NS400, which as per some reports previously, has been under development.

In this rendering, the Bajaj Pulsar NS400 Concept carries over a few parts from its younger sibling, the Pulsar NS200. For instance, the shape of the fuel tank and the tank extensions are similar to that of the Pulsar NS200, although they seem slightly bulkier. Similarly, the perimeter frame also seems to have been carried forward unchanged. This aside, the rest of the motorcycle looks completely new with redesigned headlamps and rear sub-frame along with new engine and underpinnings.

Starting with the design updates, the first thing you notice is that the headlamp is positioned much lower than in the Pulsar NS200, and it also looks much sharper with new LED lighting elements. The headlamp cowl too has been redesigned for a sportier look. The rear sub-frame is completely new with redesigned side body panels that feature air vents and a redesigned rear cowl which ends with a short, stubby design. In fact, the entire rear portion looks a lot sleeker and more aerodynamic than the Pulsar NS200. This rendering portraying a concept, it does not feature a license plate holder, and that makes the rear look a lot cleaner as well.

Bajaj Pulsar Ns400 Rendering Rear Quarter
The Pulsar NS400 has been imagined in its concept form, with several derivates from the smaller Pulsar NS200.

In terms of ergonomics, you'll notice that the split seats have been revised and the clip-on handle bars from the Pulsar NS200 have been replaced by a single-piece unit. It also gets a fully-digital instrument cluster. replacing the semi-digital unit on the NS200. This Bajaj Pulsar NS400 rendering also boasts of many mechanical upgrades, the most important of which is the new engine. Following its nomenclature, this rendering of the Pulsar NS400 comes with the tried and tested, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor from the Bajaj Dominar 400This engine produces 40hp of power and 35Nm of peak torque.

Bajaj Pulsar Ns200 Pewter Grey
Here's a stock Bajaj Pulsar NS200 for your reference.

Along with a larger engine, it also gets a bulkier engine cowl. The telescopic forks on the Pulsar NS200 have been replaced by USD forks in this rendering here. Similarly, the under belly exhaust has been replaced by a side-mounted upswept exhaust pipe that looks quite sporty. Elsewhere, this motorcycle can be seen with larger, dual petal front discs for improved braking performance. It also gets new wheels with much fatter tyres at both ends. Overall, one could actually think of this as a sportier version of the Dominar 400.

Can Bajaj Pulsar 125 Give 50 kmpl Mileage? [Video] https://indianautosblog.com/bajaj-pulsar-125-mileage-p323637 Sat, 22 May 2021 10:15:02 +0000 https://indianautosblog.com/?p=323637 The Bajaj Pulsar 125 is the most affordable model in Bajaj Auto’s Pulsar range of motorcycles. It is also the one with the lowest displacement engine. The 124.4cc single-cylinder motor is capable of delivering 11.8PS of max power at 8500rpm and 10.8Nm of peak torque at 6500rpm. The air-cooled mill comes with twin spark plugs that ensure complete combustion of the air-fuel mixture resulting in maximum performance as well as fuel efficiency. So, with its DTS-i engine, can the Bajaj Pulsar 125 return a mileage of 50 kmpl? Let’s find out.

We can see in the video that after exhausting the remaining fuel in the Bajaj Pulsar 125, the rider pours in a litre of petrol to begin the mileage test. He also resets the trip meter to zero which would help him to calculate the fuel economy. He then rides the motorcycle in and around the city to see how much distance can the 125cc Pulsar cover in 1 litre of fuel. We can see in the footage that the motorcycle is being ridden in various conditions including heavy city traffic, open roads, and even narrow paths. The top speed that has been reached during the commute falls in the 60-70 kmph range.

After riding around for a while, the petrol in the Bajaj Pulsar 125 is finally fully consumed. The motorcycle fails to starts. At this point, the trip meter reading, which was reset before the commencement of this test, shows us that the Pulsar 125 returned a mileage of 49.8 kmpl, just short of 50 kmpl. This is a pretty impressive figure for a 125cc premium commuter.

Bajaj Pulsar 125 Mileage Test Trip Reading

The Bajaj Pulsar 125 is currently available in 3 colour options - Neon Blue, Solar Red, and Platinum Silver. The 125cc motorcycle retails at INR 73,427*. There’s also a sportier split-seat variant available. It costs INR 76,109* and has 3 colour options - Black/Silver, Black/Red, and Neon Green.

Unfortunately, the hard reality is that not everyone could afford one. So to fulfil their desires, people transform their motorcycles to visually resemble the mighty ‘Busa. Most of such conversions are performed on Bajaj Pulsar 220F models. We’ve seen several such modification jobs in the past, however, what we’ve got today is so good that only a keen eye would be able to tell that this isn’t an original Hayabusa.

We can see in the video that the attention to detail in this customisation work is commendable. For instance, it seems that the RHS engine cover that’s slightly visible isn’t of the Bajaj Pulsar 220F. It is larger and gives an impression that there’s a higher displacement engine underneath the fairing. Similarly, the luggage hooks near the rear seat cowl are also a nice touch.

Another interesting element of this modified Pulsar 220F is the addition of USD front forks. They add to the motorcycle’s overall premium-ness and also enhance the front look. It’s also been told in the video that the front twin-disc setup actually works. Speaking of brakes, we can see that the rotors here are borrowed from the Bajaj Pulsar NS200. Moving to the rear, the dual exhausts, taillamp assembly, and wider rear tyre look nearly identical to those of the original Suzuki Hayabusa.

While this modified Bajaj Pulsar 220F looks like the Suzuki Hayabusa, powering the motorcycle is still the same single-cylinder engine. So, as soon as the bike is fired up, you are greeted with the conventional 1-cylinder-motor exhaust note which gives away that this a mod-job. We can also see in the video that the instrument cluster has been reworked but it doesn’t feel as well finished as, let’s say, the bodywork.

Overall, we think that this is one of the best Bajaj Pulsar 220F to Suzuki Hayabusa conversions that we’ve witnessed so far. It looks like a lot of hard work, manhours, and money has been put into it. Speaking of the resources, it’s been told in the footage that this entire customisation project costs INR 2.20 lakh and it would take 3-4 months to get the job done.

This Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Render is Inspired by Ducati Hypermotard 950 https://indianautosblog.com/bajaj-pulsar-ns200-ducati-hypermotard-p323470 Tue, 11 May 2021 04:00:39 +0000 https://indianautosblog.com/?p=323470 The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is undoubtedly one of the most popular names in the Indian motorcycle market. It’s among the first choices of many motorcycle customisers/modifiers as well as automotive artists. We’ve seen several impressive renderings of the NS200 in the past that digitally transformed the naked streetfighter into a motorcycle of a different genre. Today, we’ve come across yet another Pulsar NS200 render that has caught our attention. This digital portrait of the 200cc motorcycle appears to draw inspiration from the fantastic Ducati Hypermotard 950.

The side view of this rendering has a silhouette of the Ducati Hypermotard 950.

Created by an automotive artist that goes by the name Abin Designs on Instagram, this Bajaj Pulsar NS200 render is quite intriguing. Its side view has a silhouette of the Ducati Hypermotard 950. For instance, the front beak, half front fender, and USD front fork protectors seem to have been borrowed from the Ducati. The under-seat exhaust is eye-catching too, but it could have been aligned more properly. The artist has also tried to give this Pulsar NS200 render a taillamp similar to that of the Hypermotard 950.

Some of the other components that have been altered include redesigned belly pan, which now covers a larger portion of the engine, and tweaked fuel tank extensions which also act as the radiator shrouds. The tail tidy is also changed. We feel that the rear section would look sportier and cleaner with the rear tyre hugger removed.

This is the Ducati Hypermotard 950.

To ensure that this render is instantly identifiable as that of the Bajaj Pulsar NS200, the artist has kept intact several parts and features of the stock motorcycle. The aggressive-looking headlight, split seats, split pillion grab rails, side panels, frame, and rear cowls have been carried forward unchanged. Even the fuel tank is the same. While the clip-on handlebars are stock, they appear to have been raised a little and also accommodate knuckle guards.

Overall, we think that this digital representation of the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 inspired by the Ducati Hypermotard 950 should be given good points. Wouldn’t you agree? Share your views in the comment section below.

Next-Gen Bajaj Pulsar RS200 Render Will Take Your Breath Away https://indianautosblog.com/next-gen-bajaj-pulsar-rs200-render-p323450 Sat, 08 May 2021 02:30:10 +0000 https://indianautosblog.com/?p=323450 The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 has indeed been among the top performers in the 200cc category since day one. However, now it’s high time that it should be given a well-deserving upgrade so that it can continue to smash its competition. Unfortunately, there’s no official information about the arrival of the next-gen RS200. But that doesn’t stop enthusiasts from imagining how the new motorcycle would look like. One such enthusiast, and an automotive artist, is Abin Designs who have created a digital render of the next-gen RS200 that’d take your breath away.

Next Gen Pulsar Rs200 Render Right

The next-gen Bajaj Pulsar RS200 looks astonishing in this render. It features a sporty front fairing that has the brand’s logo towards the front end of the motorcycle. We also like how the artist has given shape to the dual-headlamp. It imparts an aggressive stance to the machine. We can also spot what seems to be integrated LED DRLs. The design of the fuel tank is somewhat similar to that of the current RS200, however, it has a more pronounced curvature towards the front.

The rear end of the next-gen Bajaj Pulsar RS200 has been raised by a considerable margin. The clip-on handlebars have been lowered down a bit for a sportier and dedicated riding stance. There’s also an underbelly exhaust that brilliantly gels with the bike’s overall profile. We can also see a tyre hugger that also houses the licence plate holder and turn signals. The artist has also used different-styled alloy wheels that are wearing high-performance tyres.

We find the next-gen Bajaj Pulsar RS200 rendering to be awesome. It looks fantastic in the blue colour scheme, however, the red, brown, and white paint combination is more eye-catching. What do you think of this digital portrait? Let us know in the comments.

Bajaj Pulsar NS400 Concept Looks Killer in Digital Render https://indianautosblog.com/bajaj-pulsar-ns400-concept-p323405 Thu, 06 May 2021 04:00:25 +0000 https://indianautosblog.com/?p=323405 Around a year ago, there were reports about a Bajaj Pulsar RS400 under development. While no official information in this regard was released by the company, the reports did give birth to speculations suggesting that a Bajaj Pulsar NS 400 could also be in the works. Well, we are still waiting to hear any official word about the two motorcycles, an automotive artist called Abin Designs has created a digital rendering that shows what the Pulsar NS 400 could look like in its Concept form.

This Bajaj Pulsar NS 400 Concept Rendering is inspired by the NS 200

We can see in the picture that several parts of the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 have been used to create the Bajaj Pulsar NS 400 Concept rendering. For instance, the shape of the fuel tank appears to be left untouched. Similarly, the perimeter frame and split seats have been carried forward. We even find the alloy wheels to be unchanged.

Perhaps, the most striking feature of the Bajaj Pulsar NS 400 Concept rendering is the under-seat exhaust. We find the routing of the header pipe to be a bit weird but in terms of looks, the entire system scores full points. The fuel tank extensions of the Concept motorcycle are larger in size and have a new design. They also bear the “400” logo.

Although only the side view of the Bajaj Pulsar NS 400 Concept is shown in the rendering, we can figure out that the automotive artist has also tweaked the front end look of the machine. There is a different-styled headlamp, most probably an LED unit, that gives a refreshing look. The headlight mask is also tweaked.

The motorcycle also uses a pair of USD front forks, a revised front fender, and high-spec front rotors. The handlebar is new and accommodates bar-end rearview mirrors. The rear section of the NS 400 Concept is higher than that of the NS200 and fitted with a sportier tail tidy. And, of course, the tyres are changed, too.

As for the engine, we think that using the tried and tested, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor from the Bajaj Dominar 400 makes sense. It comes with DOHC, 4 valves, and triple spark plugs. It is capable of pumping out 40PS of max power at 8800rpm and 35Nm of peak torque at 6500rpm. For the transmission, a 6-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch could be incorporated.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS400 Concept rendering shows us 3 different colours - blue, green, and pink. Which one do you think suits the motorcycle the best? Drop a comment below and let us know.

Bajaj Pulsar 220F vs Honda Hornet 2.0 - Which Has Higher Top Speed? https://indianautosblog.com/bajaj-pulsar-220f-vs-honda-hornet-top-speed-p323389 Wed, 05 May 2021 02:30:12 +0000 https://indianautosblog.com/?p=323389 The Bajaj Pulsar 220F and Honda Hornet 2.0 don’t exactly fall in the same segment. The former has a 220cc engine and features a semi-fairing whereas the latter uses a smaller 180cc motor and is a naked motorcycle. However, it would be interesting to see which one of these two machines has a higher top speed. The following video shows us just that.

Before we jump into the top speed test, let’s get the specs of both the motorcycles in question out of the way. So, the Bajaj Pulsar 220F’s 220cc single-cylinder engine is an oil-cooled unit that comes with twin spark plugs. It is capable of producing 20.4PS of max power at 8500rpm and 18.55Nm of peak torque at 7000rpm. The motorcycle weighs 160kg. On the other hand, the Honda Hornet 2.0 is powered by a 184.40cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that pumps out 17.26PS of max power at 8500rpm and 16.1Nm of peak torque at 6000rpm. It tips the scale at 142kg.

Now, we can see in the video that utilising all its 20.4PS of power, the Bajaj Pulsar 220F is able to achieve a top speed of 132km/h but it takes a really long time to reach there. In comparison, the Honda Hornet 2.0 manages to touch 126km/h only. This is an expected result as the Pulsar is more powerful than the Hornet which shows in the final figures. However, 126km/h is a decent top speed for the Hornet considering its overall specs.

In other news, Bajaj Auto has recently updated the Pulsar 220F. The motorcycle is now available in a bunch of new colour options including Volcanic Red, Pearl White, Sparkle Black, and Sapphire Blue. These certainly look much more attractive and refreshing and should be able to lure in more buyers. The Pulsar 220F now retails at INR 1,28,250*. In comparison, the Hornet 2.0 costs INR 1,29,608* and has 4 colour options. To own the special Repsol Edition, you will need to shell out INR 1,31,608*.
